When you’ve decided to build a brand new website with us (great call, by the way), here’s what’ll happen.
First, we’ll organize a kickoff meeting to go over your goals, primary target audiences, and technical specs. Then, depending on how much customer insights you have at your disposal, we may or may not conduct some customer research (hint: we usually do). But don’t worry, it won’t take us long.
When we have a clear idea of what your primary target audience(s) look for from a website like yours, we’ll roll up our sleeves and start designing it. Content first, and only then the pretty pictures.
Once you’re happy with the content hierarcy, sitemap, and layouts, we’ll start building the modules on your chosen content management system (we prefer HubSpot and WordPress, but then again, who asked us).
Whether you’ve decided to write the website copy in-house or buy it from us (once again, good call), this is when the actual writing will happen.
And when we’re done building all the modules and writing all the words, we’ll create the pages on the CMS, test that everything works, do a bunch of DNS stuff and launch the damn thing.
Right about now, I think we’ve all deserved a good glass of champagne and a pat on the back.
But let’s not get too comfortable because this is where the real work starts.
